We do not intend to collect or process special categories of personal data as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation or other sensitive data. For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Lemaire Legal processes your personal information for the following purposes only:
-To be able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services
-To inform you about changes to our services and products
-Lemaire legal also processes personal data if legally obliged to do so, such as information we need for our tax returns.

Automated decision-making

Lemaire Legal does not take decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without a person (e.g. a Lemaire Legal employee) in between.

For how long do we store personal information

Lemaire Legal does not keep your personal information any longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Lemaire Legal does not sell your information to third parties and will only provide data to third parties if necessary to carry out our agreement with you or to comply with any legal obligation. We will enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf,  and ensure that the same level of security and confidentiality of your data applies. Lemaire Legal remains responsible for such processing.

Cookies, or similar techniques, which we use

Lemaire Legal uses only technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone on the first visit to this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They make sure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preference settings. We can also optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your Internet browser to not store cookies. View, modify, or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You may send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to renee@lemairelegal.nl.

In order to ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service (BSN) black. This to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request.

How we protect personal information

Lemaire Legal takes the protection of your information seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unsolicited disclosure and unauthorized alteration.

Our site has an SSL certificate. Data and payment traffic are sent encrypted over HTTPS.
