Biography
Work experience
Since 2014 I have been working with great pleasure as independent legal counsel for several companies and organizations, mainly active in the field of life sciences and chemistry. My previous employers include Trenité van Doorne, DaimlerChrysler, Dutch Open University and Maastricht UMC Holding.
LL.M
I graduated in Law at Maastricht University in 1997, obtaining an LL.M. in European and International Law. As part of my studies I spent one year at the University of Montpellier, France and spent time as an intern at Essex Court Chambres in London.
Postgraduate
In June 2003, I completed a postgraduate programme in Information Technology Law and at the Grotius Academie (Nijmegen, The Netherlands). At the same institute I completed the programme in Company law in 2013.
